Hello my name is Alex Copenhaver and I am currently a student at the University of Cincinnati DAAP where I am pursuing a Bachelor in Fine Arts Art Education with a Minor in Art history and then pursuing a Master in Art Education. With this degree, I would like to teach art at the secondary level. My artwork is greatly inspired from the uncanny, and the 1970/80s horror. As well as time periods such as the Renaissance, Baroques, and the Romanticism periods. I like make work that makes you feel pure emotions.

With a focus on drawing, and sculpture I have been widening my range of mediums and consider myself a multidisciplinary artist. I have worked with drawing, painting, ceramics, videography, photography, sound, light, color, sculpture, and digital sculpture, and plan on sharpening those skills while widening my range of other mediums and techniques. I believe that everyone possesses a talent for art, no matter the skill level anyone can find the joy of creating a piece that they are proud of!
